The PNP continues its role as GMA’s primary tool of oppression with the filing of their blanket manifestation with the Makati Regional Trial Court. They state that they are unable to secure my safety and therefore will not allow me out. But the determination of risk to my health lies solely with the PNP itself. They present no evidence, no witnesses, no suspects. The only thing that is clear about them is their desire to silence me and their refusal to do their jobs.

I have made no secret of my desire to obtain justice, not for myself but for my country. It is a battle just to obtain rights guaranteed by the Constitution. It is unfortunate that the PNP has removed all doubts as to which side it is on in this fight.

MRTC ORDER: The Manifestation with urgent motion dated March 4, 2010 filed by the PNP through the acting Chief PNP Custodial Center Camp Crame, QC received by the clerk of this court at 11.50 in the morning informing the court its inability to comply with its order dated March 3, 2010 is SIMPLY NOTED. SO ORDERED City of Makati, 04 March 2010.
