TO ALL BROTHER MASONS WHITHERSOEVER DISPERSED:

The Worshipful Master, WB Jonathan Reg Hidalgo, and the brethren of Angalo Lodge No. 63 Free and Accepted Masons of Metro Vigan would like to express their congratulations to MW Reynato Puno, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for his plea to initiate the “Moral Force”. We laud his courage and conviction to spread his moral rectitude through this “force” to cure the illnesses of our nation- decadence and corruption.

In our stated meeting last April 18, 2009, the matter was taken. The brethren agreed unanimously to participate actively in this noble cause of MW Puno. We heed to the constant cry of VW Danilo Lim, a member of Baguio Lodge no. 67 and a dual member of Pagkakaisa Lodge No. 282, a PM, PDGL, PJGL for Metro Manila, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a York Rite Mason, who is presently languishing in jail for following his Masonic conscience. Bro. Danny Lim often cries out the dictum of philosopher Henry Thoreau, which says, “Dissent without action is consent”, another way of saying Edmund Burke’s “The only thing necessary for evil to live is for good men to do nothing”.

We do not want to be fence sitters or passive watchers of the corruption and decadence that are pauperizing our nation today. We want, as a lodge, to join this “Moral Force” initiative of MW Puno. We enjoin the other lodges within the jurisdiction to do the same. Let us not allow his nationalistic cry, his cry for the Filipino people to rise up and fight corruption, to wane into insignificance, to just become like a cry in the wilderness. We know who the Most Worshipful to our Order, and we know what the Order is to him. Let us all support him in his cause. This cause is for all the Filipino people.

Robert Frost once said,”…I will be telling this with a sigh, somewhere ages and ages hence, two roads diverged in the woods and I, … I took the one less travelled by and that has made all the difference”. As they say, so many are called but only a few are chosen. Freemasonry is the chosen one to lead this MORAL REVOLUTION.
